What is a gathering like?
We gather together on Sunday mornings at 10.30am. We invite people to come to church as they are.
We dress normally, we talk normally (try not to use strange religious words), we worship together (we sing songs to God), we study His Word (we apply the Bible to our daily lives) and we pray together (we talk to God). We try as hard as we can to not be religious or simply follow a bunch of rules but to actually connect with God in a real way. We believe that Jesus is alive and active and really interacts with people here and now. We don’t need to talk about Him like He is in another room; we believe He is more than willing to come and reveal Himself to us. We simply try and make an environment where normal people can meet with God in an accessible way without any hype.
All of our services begin with about twenty five minutes of contemporary worship, followed by a welcome, a message from the Bible and finally, the opportunity to receive prayer. Our services last about an hour and a half from the start of worship.
