Our Story

In August 2008, we moved to Cardiff with a team of 18 people to start a community who seek and follow Jesus together.
This is where it all began; James and Jen met at Nottingham University in 1998, James studying theology and Jen medicine. James got involved with Trent Vineyard in his first year as a student and he invited Jen to come on an Alpha course where she came to know Jesus.
After university, James started a discipleship year with the church, and at the end of this year they got married! For the six years before coming to Cardiff, James has been on the Pastoral Staff at Trent Vineyard as an Assistant Pastor and Jen working as a doctor in Nottingham, taking a year out of medicine in 2005 to serve on the ‘Discipleship Year’ at Trent. Then in February 2007 God spoke to them about about moving to Cardiff to plant a Vineyard Church in August 2008!
Jen is now working as a GP in Riverside and James is working for the church. They have a little daughter called Eva.
